Andrés Vales González, began his musical career as a trumpet player in the Swiss city of Basel at the age of eight, later he moved to live in A Coruña, where he continued his studies at the Higher Conservatory of Music in A Coruña.

At the age of fifteen he gave his first concert as a soloist at the Teatro Colón. In 1987 he obtained a scholarship to study abroad, he moved to Graz (Austria) where he perfected at the "Konservatorium Landes Steyermark" with Professor G. Kindler, in these years he also joined the Young Orchestra and the brass group from said center.

Upon his return, he became part of the A Coruña City Council Orchestra, alternating this activity with teaching at the Vilalba Conservatory and later at the Ourense Conservatory. Since 1992 he has been teaching at the Higher Conservatory of Music of A Coruña. Among his professors we can mention: G. Kindler, J. Aigi Hurn, J. María Ortí, Roberto Ramírez.
